What is The Throat-Singing Society ?

The Throat-Singing Society is for all who love throat-singing.

• Though throat-singing is such fascinating, it is still very hard for non-Tuvan or non-Mongolian people to get information about it, such as CDs or practicing methods. (Even for Mongolian people, throat-singer is rare.)
  One of the most serious problems is you can not easily find other throat-singing friends who you can talk about beauty of throat-singing with.
  (For example, the number of who love throat-singing is far less than the number of who understand the relativity around me!) (Of course it does not mean that I am studying relativistic throat-singing.)

  But don't worry! For all who love throat-singing, we are introducing basic information about it, like "what it is" or "how to do it". And, there is a "BBS" page where information about throat-singing is freely exchanged. We are the society for who love throat-singing.

Membership of

• In the member page, you will find your friends. I don't know why, but there are very unique people listed. Yes, you are not alone. All who love throat-singing is always welcome! (Not up-dated these days... sorry!)

• Your name is listed on the member page, and linked to your own WWW page or e-mail address. Not a few members found each other on this page and exchanging. (Have you found someone in your country?)
• Important info about throat-singing and the home page update will be announced directlly via e-mail.

• Please tell me your name, occupation, URL or e-mail address (if you have) which will be written in the "MEMBER" page. So far that's all : )

NOTE!

• Sometimes I am asked if there are entrance fee or membership fee. The answe is "no". We are not doing so much. In a sense we are weakly bounded group through the strong love for throat-singing. (Just once I am asked if there are initiations or something like that. "NO". We are not doing SO much!)
  We are always welcoming you. Please write to me to join us. Let's throat-sing together!
